Hola! 안녕하세요! Salaam! Welcome to LostEnTranslation: I am Spencer Brengartner, an American who is dedicating their time to become a translator in Spanish, Korean, and Arabic. I am creating this blog to document the progress and adventures I go on while becoming a translator. I have been interested in languages since I got into Chinese and Spanish language at a young age. My interest grew with the discovery of Japanese with anime and Korean with K-pop. I started taking Spanish in school, then had my first attempt of self-studying a language with Korean, and eventually my senior year of high school I was taking college Spanish and Intro to Chinese. College brought so many more opportunities for language and culture exchange. I started to self-study Korean again and tried Japanese, while taking college level Spanish courses.
